About Joy Clarke

Qualifications:
Graduated from The North London School of Physiotherapy in 1991.

The College was affiliated to The Whittington Hospital.
Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Health Professions Council.

I attend post-graduate courses to stay abreast of techniques, treatments and thinking that shape and inform musculoskeletal medicine.

Clinical experience:
Primarily in the area of Musculoskeletal outpatients although my junior experience includes ward work in medical, (neurology acute inpatients and respiratory) and inpatient orthopaedics.

My most recent role within an NHS setting was in extended scope practice. (LINK)

Although my area of expertise is musculoskeletal problems, my particular interest has been in chronic pain, or problems that have become protracted or complicated for whatever reason. Nature is a fine healer, but sometimes for different reasons, this healing is disrupted.
