Welcome to
Chartered Physio
In my
years experience working as a physiotherapist
I have worked in both acute and chronic,
inpatient and outpatient departments for
the NHS and private hospitals, armed forces,
sports clubs and in corporate settings.
My
area of expertise is musculoskeletal
problems, my particular interest
has been in chronic pain,
or problems that have become protracted
or complicated for whatever reason. Nature
is a fine healer, but sometimes for different
reasons, this healing is disrupted.
About physiotherapy
"Physiotherapy is
a health care profession concerned with
human function and movement and maximising
potential.
Physiotherapy
uses physical approaches to promote, maintain,
and restore physical, psychological and
social well-being, taking account of variations
in health status.
It is science-based,
committed to extending, applying, evaluating
and reviewing the evidence that underpins
and informs it’s practice and delivery.
The exercise of clinical judgement and informed
interpretation is at its core."
